What are Single Phase Pad Mounted Distribution Transformers?

Single-phase pad-mounted distribution transformers are suitable for safe and efficient electrical power distribution primarily for residential and light commercial applications. For single-phase power delivery, these transformers are normally mounted on a concrete, steel pad set in the ground.
